When hip-hop artists Nas and Kelis got married, they got a five-tiered wedding cake embellished with sugar roses and gilded in 23 kt gold (gold and green ws the theme for the wedding) by cake design company, Perfect Endings in Napa, California.


Nip Tuck actor Dylan Walsh married co-star Joanna Going in a ceremony with 1920s flair. The couple ordered a 3-tier Chocolate Lace cake topped with a chocolate ribbon from confectioners, Scrumptions in East Greenwich, RJ to complete the Jazz-age affair look.


Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith's cake was made by Mich Turner, the proprietor of London's Little Venice Cake Company, who has created the talked-about cakes for some of the biggest celebrity weddings - including Madonna's.  Their six-tier carrot wedding cake was fashioned after the cake Jacqueline Kennedy served at her wedding to Jack.The cake itself rested on a topiary tablecloth embroidered with roses and gardenias and featured a cascade of orange blossoms, white roses and stephanotis. Finally, Keely's mother Sharon crystallized edible flowers with the finest of sugars to give the cake its shimmering, dew-like appearance.
